Digital Design Manager

Overview
Manage design team to create and execute all digital and print design projects, according to marketing communications and business objectives as set by team leadership.
Responsibilities
Manage all digital and print design projects, including websites, emails, social media images, logos, icons, banners, posters and other printed materials
Collaborate with content team to create marketing concepts and strategies and ensure they are executed according to the editorial calendar
Source assets as needed such as photography and graphics, leading relationship management with vendor (Adobe)
Reinforce and champion brand guidelines and communication guidelines to meet business objectives
Hire, mentor and lead design team members
Provide team members with mentoring on design/creative development and process
Prioritize and manage the workload of the team in a high-volume environment to meet deadlines
Own relationships with various printers and vendors for all print projects
Work with internal stakeholders to order materials for various events/offices, and for internal communications and branding requests as they arise
Provide leadership to design team on email deployment, A/B testing strategies & list management
Collaborate with analytics/IT teams and lead relationship management with vendor (Bronto)
Work closely with analytics team on maintaining clean, updated data
Develop automation and segmentation strategies, leading overall email experience management
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree preferred with 6+ years graphic design experience
3-5 years' experience hiring, mentoring and leading a team of people
Expert user of Adobe Creative Suite
Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS
Portfolio with strong examples of brand development, logo design, interactive and print design
Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-volume and dynamic team environment
Relevant cross-functional experience (marketing, digital agency, advertising, project management)
Ability to provide direction for creative development and digital functionality/opportunities
Ability to build influence with people without being directly responsible for them
Understanding of B2B Trade and Commercial fundamentals (supplier, sales, customer and brand)
Demonstrate sound judgment, innovative thinking and takes a proactive approach to problem solving
Excellent leadership capabilities with strong presentation and interpersonal skills
Strong project management skills and attention to detail
Comfortable coordinating with multiple departments in a matrixed organization
Strong interpersonal, professional demeanor and networking skills

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
